Caterpillar movie night, population = one. Finally catching up on my giant list of “flicks to see.” Tonight’s film is Candy, a story about heroin featuring Heath Ledger and his sexy Aussie accent. You should probably watch it, I have a feeling it’s going to be good.

So my Mexico trip got cancelled due to Swine Flu; however, my dad’s going to Florida next month so I asked to go along.
This means May 22nd through the 28th I’ll be in Florida and then as soon as I get back I move into my new place. Pretty excited.

It’s reaching finals time you guys. I’m going to be scrubbing out and stress picking zits so I may be a tad quiet.
After that though, it will be fun summer time and you can watch as I attempt to lose ten pounds of stress and “my boyfriend likes fast food and take me with him” fat and pay off my credit card in time to vacation on Mackinaw Isle with Jackie and then Cancun with the family.

Some of the looks from this year’s fashion show. Apparel students in Studio (final year) have to design an entire line and construct four of those pieces for the show. At the end of the show, all the respectable Studio designers come out and take a bow with one of their models.
There were only around twenty or so Studio designers this year, but some of the collections were fantastic. Even the sophomore and junior designs were good this year. Seeing all these make me really excited to plan and produce next year’s show as a Fashion Show Coordinator! I’m already getting ideas for the theme. My life is chaotic right now because of this. In the beginning of the year I applied to apprentice for a Fashion Show Coordinator position and somehow got the job. All year I’ve been helping run and organize the massive 3-show, 1800-guest, 70-designer, 120-garment fashion show that my school produces every spring.
This week is not only Stout’s “fashion week” but also just so happens to be a week of deadlines for final projects in both my apparel classes and other general courses. I have been so busy; there just isn’t enough time in the day. I don’t know if I will be alive by Wednesday, I won’t be sleeping for 48 hours. Cross your fingers all goes well.
